  • Proprietor and wine maker, Frameworks Wine Company, 2001-present. An independent wine company producing hand-crafted lots of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.
  • Assistant Wine maker, Bethel Heights Vineyard, 2000-2005. With wine maker Terry Casteel, responsible for all aspects wine production. Duties include chemical analysis, fermentation oversight, barrel management, bottling, inventory control, equipment maintenance. In charge of all winery operations during harvest including the management of a crush crew of eight employees.

    Assistant wine maker for Bethel Heights Vineyard, a family owned vineyard and winery located in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. 12,000 cases (100,000 liter) annual production. As the assistant wine maker responsible for every aspect of winery operations. Oversaw the expansion of winery production from 8,000 cases to 12,000 cases from 1999 to 2004. Improved inventory management, refined enological practices to raise wine quality, functioned as sales representative on marketing trips, served as retail staff in winery tasting room.
  • Frameworks Wine Company, 2001 - present.
    Owner and proprietor of Frameworks Wine which produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from grapes purchased from Bethel Heights Vineyards. Wine maker, manager, and marketer for Frameworks wines which are sold exclusively within the state of Oregon.
